Casaba Melon The casaba melon is a type of muskmelon, closely related to honeydew and cantaloupe. It was first cultivated in Persia thousands of years ago. It wasn't introduced to the United States until the late nineteenth century when it was imported from Kasaba, Turkey. Casaba melons are golden yellow with greenish coloration on their wrinkled exterior. The round, pumpkin shaped melon has a slight point at the stem end. The flesh is creamy-green, juicy and lightly sweet. Delicious eaten by as is, or for added flavor, try it with a sprinkle of ginger, salt, or a squeeze of lemon or lime juice. Casaba melons add sweetness to fruit salads and are refreshing used in drinks, like fruit punch, margaritas or daiquiris.

Boule D' Or Melon - FRESH seeds
19th-century, French heirloom market melon that is prolific & hardy. It is a honeydew melon variety which, when ripe, has a deep lemon-colored, loosely netted skin with a pale green, honey-sweet flesh that emits tropical and slightly perfumed aromatics. Can grow to an average of 7 to 10 inches in diameter.

The Boule D'or was first listed in 1885 in Vilmorin's book "The Vegetable Garden" (the first-ever seed catalog published for farmers and growers) but as with many heirloom varieties, finding its seeds today is a rarity. Fruits will keep for several weeks if kept cool and dry. Very hard to find.

Missouri Heirloom Yellow Flesh This is an extremely rare watermelon. It produces round 20-lb melons with pale green skin and golden yellow/orange flesh that is very sweet, crisp and refreshing. Holds long on the vine and has a good 2-3 month shelf life if picked right. The seeds are large and plump; good for roasting. Should fetch a high price at the farmer's market. I have a limited amount of seeds.
7 seeds. Tastes Spectacular!

Ogen is named for a kibbutz in Israel. This rare gourmet melon is sweet, aromatic and delicious. High yielding plants produce super-sweet pale greenish-white flesh, with a small cavity. 6" in diameter, the melons weigh 4-5 pounds.  Each plant produces about 9 fruits. Can grow well on a trellis. 20 Heirloom seeds

Piel de Sapo (aka Santa Claus melon) is a Spanish variety, with green and yellow skin and white-fleshed medium-sized fruit. It has a wonderful aroma and an extremely sweet taste. It is the top 3 melons for taste in my opinion (along with Casaba and Ambrosia).

Comes with pump
Color: Colorful, Size: Large
My dogs enjoyed it but it’s not large dog proof. I have a husky and German Shepard…..the ball lasted a day before it was torn up. But this would be perfect for smaller or medium sized dogs.

Our German Sheppard loves these
Size: Medium
These cost a bit more than tennis balls, but they are so much nicer and longer lasting. For starters, they stay cleaner than tennis balls because they’re smooth rubber. Dirt won’t build up on them and if anything does stick, like grass or soil, it falls off once the dog slobber dries. They’re also thick, so they don’t fall apart or blow out like a normal tennis ball does in our dog’s jaws after 30 seconds. Our GS chomps on these like crazy and the only damage they’ve suffered is a crack that developed from the edge of the hole, but the crack is growing very slowly and none of these balls have totally failed yet. The balls do whistle when thrown ant high speed and that may help a dog track and locate it, but I’m not sure. Our neighbors hear the whistling too so it’s far from silent. Lastly the orange ball is easy to locate out in our yard, but the dark blue practically disappears.

Great for smaller dogs
Size: Small
These two balls are perfect for the smaller mouthed dog that loves to play fetch. These balls are not only super durable (lots of teeth biting), but float in the baby pool we use for our miniature dachshunds. The value here is much better than you’d find anywhere else. The noise, if bitten hard enough, was “low” at best. Easy to spot/find if overthrown. Will definitely buy again once these are in bad repair; so far, so good-love these for my fur babies!
